To begin the enrollment process at one of our Burnaby or New Westminster childcare locations, please first fill out a Registration Inquiry Form, either in person, by phone or online. This will allow you to enroll your child immediately or add them to the waitlist depending on your needs and what is available.

After you submit the Registration Inquiry Form, we will contact you within 24 hours to discuss available options and further details.  

Once a space for your child is confirmed at your chosen New Westminster or Burnaby location, we’ll ask you to come visit us in person to complete enrollment and to provide payment to reserve the spot.

    Requirements

    Age

    To enroll in Graham Montessori School, a child must be at least 2.5 years (30 months) old.

    Gradual Entry

    In order to set a positive tone and fun atmosphere within the classroom, Graham Montessori has a gradual entry period. This means that a new child will begin with a shorter day, usually starting with 1 to 1.5 hours.

    During this period, we ask parents/caregivers to remain patient and supportive until their child has adapted to the teachers, other students, and the classroom environment. We also discuss rules and guidelines, and allow teachers to spend time bonding with each child. When this special kind of attention is given, it reduces any fear or anxieties a child may have.

    We understand each child is a unique individual and that it takes a different amount of time and effort for each child to adapt to a new environment. The gradual entry gently brings a child through the variety of adjustments and changes associated with immersion in a new environment. The gradual entry period is thus crucial in developing a secure, predictable, and loving atmosphere, leading to an enjoyable and productive year for all.

    Tuition Fees

    Due to the diversity of the program schedules at each childcare centre location, tuition fees vary. Please contact your preferred location or submit an Enrollment Inquiry Form to schedule a tour of the location you are interested in and to discuss fees, which will be tailored to your family’s needs (*).

    Government Subsidies

    Please note, government subsidies are available for qualifying families. For more information, check the website of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. The staff at our centres will also be happy to direct you to the Ministry office in your area.

    Tax Advantage

    Graham Montessori School qualifies for a tax advantage. This amount is directly deducted from your taxable earnings when filing your tax return.
